Job Summary

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner and Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing detailed engineering submissions for multiple airport projects managing project coordination and mitigating risks to ensure the successful delivery of aviation infrastructure. This position requires a highly skilled professional with a Masters degree in Transportation Planning extensive experience in the aviation sector and a proven track record of 12 to 16 years in transport planning and design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate Detailed Engineering Submissions prepared by consultants for multiple airports owned by the Employer.
  • Ensure compliance with design standards project specifications and industry best practices.
  • Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to consultants to enhance the quality of submissions.
  • Perform project management duties including planning monitoring and reporting on project progress.
  • Coordinate with contractors consultants and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Act as a liaison between the Employer and the stakeholder community to foster collaboration and resolve issues proactively.
  • Identify potential risks to project timelines budgets and quality.
  • Provide early alerts to the Employer regarding risks and challenges.
  • Develop and communicate mitigation strategies to address identified risks and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors consultants and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to achieve project objectives.
  • Represent the Employer in meetings and discussions related to project planning and execution.

 


Qualifications :

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Transportation Planning or a related field is mandatory.
  • 12 to 16 years of professional experience in transport planning and design.
  • Proven experience in the aviation sector is mandatory with a strong understanding of airport infrastructure and operations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of detailed engineering processes and project management principles.
