Forming part of the Project Assurance service line within the Project and Program Delivery team you will play a key role in providing our clients with commercial and financial assurance on Australias major infrastructure projects. Specifically this will include:
- Performing commercial and financial analysis of contractor bids as part of tender award evaluations.
- Working closely with client staff to understand systems processes and controls in relation to delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Reviewing and auditing the design and operating effectiveness of key systems and processes to evaluate if project risks are managed effectively.
- Reviewing transaction and financial data from delivery Contractors and assess the effectiveness of commercial financial and project controls systems and processes for compliance to contract agreements.
- Performing on-site reviews to assess the strengths of key governance processes and controls.
- Performing target cost reconciliations project milestone and KPI/KRA reviews to finalise the financial position of a project on completion.

This team provides a wide range of services and work with or between both the client and the contractors delivering major infrastructure projects and our team come from the following backgrounds:
- Internal audit
- External audit
- Independent financial audit
- Project assurance
- Risk management
- Contract assurance
- Contracts Administration
- Project Controls or
- Project Cost Control.
How are you extraordinary
You will bring recent experience in delivering client-side government or advisory contract audit contract assurance or control services across infrastructure projects or capital-intensive industries and:
- You have recent experience in providing contract assurance services or internal auditing across infrastructure projects or capital-intensive industries.
- You are passionate about giving project owners real-time objective feedback on contractual compliance financial control cost management project controls and other project risks.
- You can review programs of work identify and manage risks support project procurement understand approvals and can provide project updates to stakeholders.
- Understand and solve client problems and mitigating risks when delivering projects.
