Job Description: Partnerships - Financial Services APAC
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Partnership to lead a role for new partnership initiatives in Financial Services APAC.
Based in China to bolster our business that is in need to seek new revenues especially in the data and AI space but also to the leading Payment technologies to augment our Issuing & Acquiring platform.
He or She will be focusing on external and internal initiatives that will drive new revenue streams across APAC region. This role is critical to identifying qualifying validating assessing and executing strategic partnerships that will accelerate Worldlines growth and market expansion in the rapidly evolving cross border trade and payments landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Portfolio Management
- Lead the identification and qualification of partners with potential to generate new revenue streams for Worldline Financial Services in APAC
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Engineering Sales Service delivery legal and governance to assess and validate the merits of the new proposed business lines.
- Conduct comprehensive project assessments using partnership principles such as co-selling and joint go to market with SDRs (Sales Development representatives).
- Manage partner portfolio from initiation through closure ensuring alignment with business objectives technical integration and governance requirements
Strategic Business Development
- Coordinate a small team of SDRs to find and qualify as well as mature opportunities.
Revenue Stream Analysis & Execution
- Assess market opportunities in key APAC markets including digital services issuing solutions and account payment innovations
- Support through SDR calling scripts for Financial Services partnerships with local technologies and fintech companies
- Execute partners contracts aligned with Worldlines strategic focus areas including cloud-based payment solutions and regulatory compliance
Quality & Governance Management
- Ensure all partnerships comply with Worldlines quality gates and partners processes
- Coordinate with Presales Sales Marketing Risk Managers and Security Officers as required
- Maintain partner documentation and reporting standards using salesforce and any other Worldline management tools
- Conduct Quarterly and Annual reviews and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Finance or related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive business development and management experience preferably in financial services or payments industry
- Business Development Knowledge and experience in marketing leads maturity and opening new markets.
- Product and Technology management proven track record in product design and lifecycle management
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of success in a technology related enterprise. Knowledge in the eCommerce industry (Acquiring) is also an added advantage
- Proficiency in business management track record of people management and business growth.
- Experience with portfolio management tools (such as Salesforce or any other CRM)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements in (initially in China) and later in APAC financial services markets
Core Skills
- Proven track record of delivering revenue-generating projects on time and within budget
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across cultural and geographical boundaries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluency in English; Mandarin proficiency preferred
- Experience working in matrix organizations with global teams
