Werelooking for an experienced Health Safety & Wellbeing Partner to play a pivotal in supporting our people & leaders. This role is hands-on advisory and impact-driven sitting at the intersection of workers compensation return to work and proactive wellbeing.

Workingin a smallcollaborativespecialist team withinING HRs People Services team youll be the trusted expert for employees people Leaders HRBPs and the broader HR stakeholders ensuring our approach to safety recovery and wellbeing is practical compliance and genuinely people centred.

Whatyoulldo

  • Lead & manage workers compensation claims end to end ensuring timely compliant and supportive outcomes for employees & the ING business
  • Drive effective return to work and recovery at work programs partnering closely with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a subject matter expert on health safety & wellbeing and injury management providing trusted advice & coaching
  • Proactively design implement and embed wellbeing initiatives that support physical mental and psychosocial health
  • Partner with People Leaders to build capability and confidence in managing safety wellbeing and recovery conversations
  • Analyse trends and data across claims absences and wellbeing indicators to identify risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislative regulatory and insurer requirements whilst keeping process simple and people-centric
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of policies frameworks and practices across health safety & wellbeing.

Whatwerelooking for

  • Proven experience in workers compensation injury management and return to work within a complex or large organisation
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation workers compensation frameworks and wellbeing best practise
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor to employees HR and people leaders
  • A proactive mindset you dont just response to issues you anticipate them and act early
  • Experience designing or delivering wellbeing initiatives particularly those supporting mental health & psychosocial safety
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate sensitive and complex situations with confidence & care.
  • Relevant qualifications in WHS (e.g. WHS Certificate IV RTW Coordinator); rehabilitation metal health allied health and/or a related discipline will be highly regarded
