Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports assigned strategic projects
- Work with procurement and business partners to assess their business needs and contribute meaningfully to the development of cost optimization drivers and strategies.
- Populate and maintain complex databases and apply analytical tools techniques and systems to analyze and interpret a wide range of supplier and organizational information and options to support procurement planning and decision making.
- Undertake research cost modelling and analysis of supply markets to identify opportunities and inform sourcing strategies
- Effective management of supplier performance and sustainability reporting
- Support Category Managers in activities such as sourcing support reporting & ad-hoc tasks
- Communicating technical reports and analyses in a meaningful way to procurement stakeholders
- Support supplier quality data management
- Support procurement automation projects
Required education experience knowledge
- Supply Chain Management experience
- Degree in supply chain management or engineering
- Digital tools / automation experience
- 1-2 years in procurement function in Engineering Industry.
- Very good Communication skills
- Experience in Digital Procurement Tools
- A self-starter and proactive approach to the category management support tasks
- Microsoft Office
- VBA Macros - Advantage
- SAP ERP - Advantage
- Familiar with ESG practices and sustainable procurement - Advantage
- Microsoft Power Platform - Power BI basic knowledge
