Whole-school responsibility for SEND provision
The role involves leading SEND provision across KS3 and KS4 working closely with senior leaders teaching staff families and external agencies to ensure pupils with additional needs are well supported and able to thrive. You will oversee EHCP processes coordinate interventions and champion inclusive practice across the school.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
NASENCO qualification (or willingness to complete within the required timeframe)
Experience supporting students with SEND in a secondary setting
Strong knowledge of EHCP processes and statutory SEND requirements
Ability to work collaboratively with staff families and professionals
