Job Summary
A well-regarded SEN school in Surrey is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day management maintenance and security of the school site starting ASAP. This is a vital operational role supporting a specialist learning environment and ensuring the site is safe secure and well presented for pupils staff and visitors.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the smooth running of the school premises working closely with senior leaders and support staff. The role suits someone with a hands-on approach who understands the importance of consistency safety and responsiveness in an SEN setting.
Key Responsibilities
Day-to-day management maintenance and security of the school site
Opening and closing the premises as required
Carrying out basic repairs maintenance and general upkeep
Ensuring health & safety compliance across buildings and grounds
Liaising with contractors and monitoring site works
Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours requirements
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Site Manager Caretaker or Facilities professional
Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills
Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
Calm reliable and flexible approach suited to an SEN environment
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
