About the Team:

Data is core to CDPs mission and purpose. We use it to drive engagement enable earth-positive impact and understand our very own CDP organisation. The Data team ensures that CDP is enabled to use this data it is engineered to allow ease of use and exploit it to provide insights and data products.

About this role:

The Data Analyst works closely with their squad to deliver impactful insights dashboards and data products to stakeholders from across the organization including finance marketing comms commercial operations and technology. They work with a degree of expertise in their field that allows them to independently work on smaller deliveries and contribute unsupervised to larger projects. Data Analysts bring new ideas for improvement to the table and can work in collaboration with senior team members to structure a plan for how these are developed and addition to working on planned deliveries they are expected to contribute to delivering ad-hoc service desk tickets to stakeholders across CDP. The ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and concepts to a variety of audiences and stakeholders will be a great advantage for a data analyst at CDP.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to and create impactful data products and data visuals and insights using Power BI.

  • Develop cloud-based scripts and pipelines using SQL PySpark & Synapse Notebooks.

  • Ensure quality and accuracy of data feeding into the metrics KPIs and dashboards.

  • Review work carried out by other data analysts.

  • Deliver insights and data extracts against ad-hoc service ticket.

  • Take initiative and help upskill/guide fellow team members in areas where you excel.

  • Contribute user stories to the backlog and delivery plans for projects you are involved in.

Internal stakeholders include: Data Engineering Data Governance Products Thought Leadership Finance Customer Success.

External stakeholders include: Data product customers partner organisations.

Were looking for:

  • Experience with applied data analytics and/or data science working with metrics analytics insights and data products.

  • Strong coding capabilities in SQL Python PySpark and Notebooks.

  • Applied data visualisation experience developing dashboards with PowerBI or similar BI tools.

  • Experience working with cloud computing in Azure Synapse or similar platforms.

  • Ability to present technical content to manager and other team members.

  • Ability to work on several projects/deliveries simultaneously.

  • Great attention to detail and commitment to achieving high standards is essential.

  • Capable of working collaboratively with Git and DevOps

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • A team player mentality is a must.

  • Impeccable communication skills in English.

Desirable

  • Subject matter expertise in the field of ESG data and insights.

  • Experienced working according to agile project/product management is desirable.

  • Applied experience with CRM tools and marketing automation tools.

The salary banding for this role is 32157 -40197 (or regional equivalent for this Grade). Holidays and benefits in accordance with local regulations.
