We are seeking a motivated enthusiastic and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in New Malden starting as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Key Stage 2 and enjoys supporting pupils as they transition from Key Stage 1 into more independent and structured learning.

As a Year 3 Teacher you will play a key role in supporting pupils academically socially and emotionally during this important stage of their development. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum promoting positive learning behaviours and ensuring all pupils including those with SEND and EAL are supported effectively.
Plan deliver and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
Deliver engaging literacy numeracy and foundation subject lessons
Support pupils transitioning from KS1 to KS2 with confidence and independence
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils including SEND and EAL
Promote positive behaviour resilience and a growth mindset
Maintain a structured inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment and attainment records
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress and wellbeing
Contribute to staff meetings CPD sessions and whole-school initiatives
Support school events enrichment activities and extra-curricular opportunities
Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times
The successful candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 ideally Year 3
Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
Be reflective adaptable and proactive in their teaching approach
Show a clear commitment to inclusion safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Work effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team
