Role: Outside Sales Representative Tinplate
Compensation: Starting salary is expected to be $100000-$120000 plus bonus based on revenue and profitability. Benefits include medical insurance paid time off 401(k) and more.
Position: This position will be focused on developing new tinplate business through outreach to new customers in the USA. Target customers are buyers of tinplate for metal packaging automotive stamping and other end this role you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with key decision makers at customers assessing product and supply needs and working with our team to develop and execute competitive supply chains.
Our company is a leader in the supply of tinplate steel and related light-gauge coated products. We have strong relationships with global steel mills and the processing capabilities needed for this market. We are looking to expand our tinplate business after the recent changes to the Section 232 steel tariffs.
The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in the sales of light-gauge flat rolled steel including 3 years in sales of tinplate steel. Experience with business development and outside sales in our target markets is preferred. Regular travel to prospects prospects and industry events is expected. This is not a remote position.
