Responsibilities: This person will coordinate anhydrous ammonia plumbing projects and assist in ensuring that the requirements of the Consent Decree are achieved. They will work within the assigned region with the facility managers to implement maintain and monitor the Corporate Safety Environmental and Regulatory Program. All duties should be performed in accordance with company policy.
What Youll Do
- Compile information and submit Risk Management Plan (RMP) renewals and updates for MFA Incorporated MEI LLC and local affiliates with anhydrous ammonia
- Maintain a spreadsheet with dates of RMP renewal Hazard Reviews and Compliance Audits completed at RMP-covered facilities
- Maintain a degree of knowledge pertaining to laws and regulations
- Understand and convey how facilities are meeting or not meeting compliance
- Monitor evolving industry standards laws and regulations and current interpretations
- Attend training as needed to enhance knowledge in safety environmental and regulatory fields

Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree in one or a combination of the following: Safety Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science or Technology Chemistry Biology Physics Physical Science Geology Engineering Agronomy Soil Science Agriculture Animal Science Soil Conservation or a closely related field;
- 3 years experience implementing safety environmental and/or regulatory programs
