Job Title:SAP PS (Project System) S/4HANA Public Cloud Migration ConsultantLocation:Hyderabad BangaloreJob Type:Full-time
Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP PS Consultant to support our migration from a legacy ERP system (e.g. SAP ECC) toSAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in the SAP Project System module extensive experience in end-to-end S/4HANA implementations and practical knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
. SAP PS Configuration & Master Data: Configure and maintain SAP Project System master and transactional data including Project Definitions Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements networks and activities in S/4HANA.
. Data Migration: Assist in planning strategy and execution of PS data migration activities using the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and staging tables. This includes:
. Downloading and preparing migration object templates (XML or CSV format).
. Managing data cleansing validation and mapping tasks between source and target systems.
. Simulating and executing data loads and performing post-migration data verification.
. System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of the PS module with other SAP modules especially FICO MM SD and PP within the S/4HANA Cloud environment.
. Business Process Transformation: Conduct fit-to-standard workshops map client business processes (e.g. Engineer to Order Capital Projects) to SAP Best Practices for Public Cloud and guide the client through the transition.
. Project Lifecycle & Methodology: Work within the SAP Activate methodology framework participating in all phases from prepare to go-live and hypercare.
. Testing & Documentation: Prepare functional specifications for technical teams support testing cycles (UAT integration testing) and create comprehensive business documentation.
. Cloud Specifics: Ensure compliance with public cloud-specific constraints leverage Fiori apps and utilize cloud-specific tools like SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC) and SAP Cloud ALM.
. Required Skills & Qualifications
. Experience: 7 years of SAP experience with at least 2-3 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or migration projects (Public Cloud experience preferred).
. Technical Skills: Strong expertise in PS IMG customization (cost planning budgeting scheduling settlement results analysis). Hands-on experience with the SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit and Migration Object Modeler (MOM). Knowledge of Fiori apps related to project management and strong understanding of role-based access.
. Domain Knowledge: Expertise in various enterprise processes like Engineer-to-Order (ETO) or Capital Projects using SAP PS.
. Soft Skills: Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
. Preferred: SAP S/4HANA Cloud certification (Public Edition) is highly desirable.
