JOB SUMMARY

Creates and executes Jabils regional Indirect Procurement strategy driving Jabils operational financial and business success through Procurement strategy and operations and ensuring the effective management of Procurement resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures that existing plants and future acquisitions are fully integrated with the Global Indirect Procurement strategy and policies.
Develops an understanding of the requirements of Business Units and Operations leadership operating in the region and assists in the development of business plans to drive continuous improvement within the Procurement value chain.
Ensures that Jabil has a comprehensive Procurement organization in place throughout the APAC region.
Ensures that Jabil has a competent Supply Base and Logistics solution in place across the region to be able to execute the Procurement strategy.
Provides management leadership vision and direction to Jabils Operations & BU leadership within the APAC region.
Develops a regional infrastructure that supports the size and scale of the business in the APAC.
Participates in the development and implementation of the Global Indirect Procurement strategy ensuring the requirements of the region are included.
Markets Jabils Indirect Procurement expertise both internally and externally.
Develops effective relationships with Business Unit Management & Operations to ensure that Global Indirect Procurement is fully involved with new business opportunities.
Develops effective relationships with senior individuals within the supply base ensuring that Jabils wants needs and requirements are clearly communicated and met.
Identifies and implements new practices and processes that enhance Jabils Procurement.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Strong knowledge of global and regional Indirect Procurement industries specifically in the field of MRO Capex Infrastructure & Facility Services.
Strong proficiency in determining the appropriate category strategies to enable companys business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum resource footprint.
Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
Strong and convincing communication skills.
Proficiency in use of personal computers Microsoft Office products (Excel Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

10 years experience in Indirect Procurement proficiencies.
Strong understanding of commercial requirements.
Strong familiarity with relevant category economic and financial models.
Strong interpersonal skills.

Advanced/Fluent English speaking abilities.
Or a combination of education experience and/or training.
