Green by Nature is seeking a dedicated Landscape Professional to join our softscape team in our growing variations team. This role works across a large variety of sites throughout Sydney to complete landscape upgrades and improvements on existing contacts for our valued clients.

Responsibilities

As a Landscape/Softscape Team Member your daily tasks will include:

• Assisting with softscape installation and minor landscape construction tasks including but not limited to; turfing basic paving timber & steel edging etc under the guidance of a team leader or supervisor.
• Operating and maintaining small plant and landscape equipment including but not limited to; power tools packing plates small excavators & skid steer mowers blowers and whipper snippers safely and effectively.
• Following site plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
• Installation and adjustments of basic irrigation systems such as; turf pop ups garden dripline solenoid valves battery controllers etc
• On occasions carrying out landscape maintenance duties such as mowing edging pruning planting mulching and hedging to ensure completed projects are finished to a high standard.
• The ability to work professionally as part of a team across a large variety of site from housing estates private schools commercial estates and open space parklands.
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety procedures on-site.
• Reporting any site issues or hazards to your supervisor promptly.
• Growing division with great progression pathways for dedicated team members

About You

• Previous experience in landscaping horticulture or related fields.
• A basic understanding of plant care irrigation systems and landscape construction techniques is advantageous.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
