A well-established 1 AA Rosette country pub restaurant in Bransgore is looking to recruit a Chef de Partie to join its growing kitchen team.
This is a genuine fresh-food kitchen producing everything from scratch including stocks soups desserts starters and roasts with menus built around seasonal British produce. The venue has built a strong reputation locally and beyond supported by a stable brigade and a positive professional working culture.
The kitchen also caters for private functions weddings BBQs hog roasts and special events offering variety beyond standard service without compromising standards.
This role would suit:
A strong Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
An experienced CDP looking for a solid well-run kitchen
A chef slightly above or below CDP level with the right attitude and passion
The Role
Running your own section during service with flexibility to support across sections
Preparing fresh stocks soups starters desserts and garnishes
Fish and meat preparation veg prep and daily mise en place
Cooking and plating dishes to Rosette standard
Supporting Sunday roasts and event menus when required
Helping train and support commis and junior chefs
Maintaining organisation food safety and consistency throughout service
Shifts & Hours
5 days per week
2 consecutive days off each week
Realistic manageable chef hours
A kitchen that values worklife balance as well as standards
About You
Experience in a fresh-food kitchen (Rosette experience ideal but not essential)
Confident running a section and working cleanly and methodically
Passion for cooking from scratch and learning across the kitchen
Reliable organised and calm under pressure
A team player who enjoys developing and being developed
Whats on Offer
Salary circa 32000 depending on experience (negotiable for the right person)
Tips / tronc paid on top
Stable brigade and supportive leadership
Strong emphasis on training and progression
Varied workload including events and functions
