Join Kinetic as a Workshop Manager at our Townsville workshop and play a key role in our continued success as a leading bus service operator.

OurFleet Servicesteam plays a crucial role in making this happen by making sure that our vehicles remain in optimum condition through top quality maintenance and repairs.

As a Workshop Manager you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and repair for our fleet of vehicles. Youll lead a skilled team of Heavy Vehicle Mechanics implementing preventive maintenance strategies and contributing to the growth of Kinetics Townsville operations.

You will be involved in

  • Analysing and improving the workshops performance; and making sure that things are running smoothly.
  • Oversee and conduct preventative vehicle maintenance to ensure that vehicles are maintained to an efficient level and available for our operational needs.
  • Oversee and undertake maintenance and repair work on engines transmissions rectify defects / faults in a timely manner.

The boxes youll tick:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Previous experienceinproviding maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
  • Leadership skills to motivate and facilitate work teams in the achievement of results
  • Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential)
  • Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
