Supplyhaus is experiencing rapid growth and with a large number of projects already locked in we are seeking a Joinery Estimator to join the team.

About the role

We are currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Joinery team based in role will see you providing budgets cost plans and estimates on joinery projects up to $10m. You will build genuine relationships with clients suppliers and subcontractors to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.

Your role will include the following key tasks:

Conduct estimating processes meticulously to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
Undertake cost planning with accurate pricing making reasonable assumptions on design for projects in due diligence phase.
Undertake full material take-off quantities and measurements using first principles.
Develop bid programs and ensure clear communication of time frames to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with project teams to leverage subcontractor & supplier relationships and obtain competitive pricing while delivering quality outcomes.
Prioritize quality in all aspects of work ensuring the delivery of defect-free products that exceed client expectations.
Understand client needs and develop specialised solutions aligned with their success factors.
Liaise with installers and suppliers to support tender submission.
Analyse bid scopes foresee risks and develop strategies to address them effectively.
Engage in Value Engineering to maximize profitability while meeting client needs.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and avoid rushed outcomes.

About you

We are seeking someone who is eager to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment while having fun and contributing to team addition we are seeking the following:

Previous experience as an Estimator with comprehensive knowledge of the joinery trade and a solid understanding of products.
Sound understanding of sequence and methodology of construction of joinery with the ability to price installation using first principles
An understanding of surrounding trade packages and how they interface with the joinery.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and allow for non-documented assumptions.
Proven commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
Strong problem-solving communication and facilitation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and foster a collaborative environment.
