Legal Counsel

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

• Work on a wide range of commercial contracts such as:

  • industrial gas supply contracts with customers

  • agreements with agents and distributors

  • purchase contracts for services equipment energy and transport sourcing

• Support sales team and procurement contracting processes

• Provide legal support in dispute resolution

• Have the opportunity to advise on a range of compliance topics in particular competition and small business contract/ consumer law

• Provide internal legal training focusing on competition and consumer law contracting skills for sales and procurement teams and anti-corruption

• Participate in workshops and discussions with the broader Air Liquide international legal team

Are you a MATCH

• Tertiary qualification in Law with 5-8 years PQE of practising experience

• Hold a current Australian practising certificate or be eligible for admission

• Inhouse experience preferred but not required

• Demonstrated experience in commercial contract drafting and review

• Good basis in competition and consumer law

• Background/previous experience in advising on construction law contracts privacy law employment law and health and safety laws not essential well regarded

• Strong communication technical drafting and problem solving skills

• Superior attention to detail and good organizational skills

• Enjoy to work collaboratively as part of a small team
