What you will be doing:

Manage the full accounting function up to trial balance
Prepare monthly management accounts
Complete VAT PAYE and other statutory submissions
Assist with yearend audits and liaise with auditors
Maintain and review financial controls and processes
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger oversight
Support operational teams with financial reporting and analysis
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation

What we are looking for:

BCom Accounting / Financial Management (or similar)
Completed or studying SAIPA / SAICA articles (advantageous)
25 years accounting and/or audit experience
Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance
Experience with accounting software (Pastel Sage or similar)
Strong Excel skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
