Instructional Designer

The Alliance for Professional Development Training and Caregiver Excellence (The Alliance) is a partnership between the UW School of Social Work; Washington State Department of Children Youth and Families; Eastern Washington University School of Social Work; UW Tacoma School of Social Work and Criminal Justice; and Partners for Our Children.
The Alliance works to increase the capacity of Washingtons social workers partners and foster caregivers to support community wellness. We provide education and programs in a variety of modalities so that each adult learner can retain the skills needed to continue to succeed.
The Alliance works within the University of Washington School of Social Work (SSW). In this role you willwork with The Alliance toanalyzethe complex learning needs of internal and external customers. You will then design and developweb-based solutions that are understandable and useful to a variety of audiences who all support the child welfare community in a variety of learning will learn and understand the complexities of Child Welfare Child Welfare Training and the technological platforms that support the training you develop will be used to support the advancement of child welfare practice and the effectiveness of the training offered to Department of Children Youth and Families (DCYF) staff caregivers and partners.
In this role you will also support their peers in advancing their curriculum and design expertise through sharing their knowledge and participating as a meaningful member of the development team. You will help review and craft meaningful and measurable learning objectives scenarios and formative and summative assessments. You will represent The Alliance in various meetings and will need excellent interpersonal skills to maintain key relationships with internal and external Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Tribes agencies and community partners.
