Principal Engineer Power Solutions

Our client is a leading provider of power solutions for construction and industrial
applications. It is seeking to employ an experienced professional to join them as
Principal Engineer Power Solutions (Ref: KHXXXX)
The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening the Clients engineering
capabilities driving product developing and supporting the Clients transition into
innovative and sustainable power solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for
a professional with strong technical grounding and a passion for advancing energy
technologies. Career growth into senior management roles awaits the successful
candidate.
The Job
1) Product Oversight and Development
Oversee the technical performance of existing product portfolio ( generators
BESS power cables and distribution boards )
Monitor the performance if existing products and recommend enhancements
Conduct technical reviews test and validation of new designs
Lead feasibility studies for new product lines in power solutions
2) Team Leadership
Provide leadership and guidance to engineers and technicians.
Mentor and guide engineers / technicians and foster a culture of learning
development and improvement
Ensure engineering work meets safety regulatory and quality standards
Evaluate and recommend product improvements for reliability efficiency and
safety
3) Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Explore and assess new product opportunities in power solutions
Stay updated with latest industry trends in diesel generators hybrid power and
BESS
Propose and pilot new technologies that align with the Clients growth strategy
Work with suppliers and partners to evaluate new products or components
4) Cross-Functional Collaborations
Act as a bridge between Management Engineering teams and external partners /
vendors
Support Sales and BD teams with technical input during discussions with clients
Provide training and knowledge-sharing across teams
Liaise with external vendors and certification bodies when required

The Candidate
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Mechanical or Power Engineering (or related field).
At least 57 years of experience in power solutions (generators BESS distribution
systems).
Strong technical knowledge of power generation storage and distribution
systems.
Proven leadership experience guiding engineering teams.
Practical hands-on problem solver with ability to balance theory and field realities.
Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in Singapore is a plus.
