Project Management Specialist

• Developing and maintaining detailed project management plans that align with DoD contract specifications and strategic objectives
• Overseeing project lifecycle activities ensuring timely execution of deliverables effective resource allocation and adherence to budget constraints
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams vendors and stakeholders to synchronize project efforts and resolve issues promptly
• Monitoring project performance by tracking key performance indicators and conducting regular risk assessments to mitigate potential delays
• Preparing comprehensive status reports and presentations providing actionable insights for continuous improvement and decision-making

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

• Seven plus years experience in a project management specialist role
• Bachelors degree in a related field
• Demonstrated ability to develop monitor and manage comprehensive project plans including schedules budgets and resources in accordance with DoD contract requirements.
• Proven expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and alignment with mission objectives.
• PMP (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Possess an active DoD secret security clearance

• Proficiency with project management software tools (e.g. MS Project Primavera) to enhance planning and tracking efficiency
• Experience with agile and lean project management methodologies to drive continuous process improvement
• Strong analytical and risk management skills to anticipate project challenges and implement proactive solutions
• Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
