Radiation Therapist Contract Assignment
Location: Brooklyn NY
Duration: 14 Weeks
Schedule: Full-Time 40 Hours/Week
Shift: Day Shift 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $45$50 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist to join a clinical team in Brooklyn NY. The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering prescribed radiation treatments in compliance with physician orders safety standards and regulatory guidelines. This role requires strong technical skills attention to detail and a patient-centered approach to care.
Key Responsibilities
Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist
Accurately prepare and position patients for daily treatment sessions
Operate radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently
Verify treatment plans and patient setup prior to treatment delivery
Monitor patients during treatment and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions
Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation and patient records
Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Collaborate effectively with radiation oncologists medical physicists and clinical staff
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and treatment protocols
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Licensure & Certifications
Active New York State Radiation Therapist License (NYDOH) Required
Primary Source Verification Required
BLS Certification Required
