Inviting applications for the role of Process Associate - R2R Cash disbursements & Bank reconciliations
Responsibilities:
Transaction Processing: Assist in processing cash disbursements ensuring payments are made accurately and on time. Verify transaction details and maintain records for audit purposes.
Bank Reconciliation Support: Help perform bank reconciliations by matching transactions recorded in the accounting system with bank statements. Identify discrepancies and escalate them for resolution.
Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of cash transactions and reconciliation activities. Ensure documentation is complete and accessible for analysis and reporting.
Compliance Assistance: Support adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements related to cash disbursements and bank reconciliations. Learn and apply compliance standards.
Communication: Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues related to cash transactions.
Learning and Development: Participate in training programs to build knowledge of best practices in cash management and stay updated on industry trends.
Minimum Qualifications:
Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate
Experience in working with an insurance client will be an added advantage

Preferred Skill Set:
Relevant years of experience in R2R Cash disbursements & Bank reconciliations
Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
Computer literacy MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly and succinctly articulate issues to senior management
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Self-starter with ability to work under own initiative
Strong time management skills
Integrity with an ability to handle confidential information
