At Healthy Gamer we think modern mental health care should be inclusive and affordable. Our coaching service has helped over 13000 people across 77 countries since it launched in November 2019. Our movement is gaining traction putting us in the top 0.1% of Twitch streamers and the top 1% of YouTube channels. And were working on even more resources to help people find a way forward when they need it.
Weve made an impact in the gaming community but thats not where our mission ends. We want to change how people think about and deal with mental health and were looking for passionate people to help us get there. About the Role
The Project Manager partners closely with the product and cross-functional stakeholders to plan execute and deliver high-quality software and platform initiatives. This role is responsible for driving clarity momentum and accountability across development projectsensuring work is delivered on time within scope and aligned with business priorities.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments brings structure to ambiguity and enjoys working with technical teams to turn ideas into shipped outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
- Own end-to-end project management for development initiatives from discovery and planning through launch and post-delivery review.
- Translate product and business requirements into clear project plans timelines milestones and dependencies.
- Partner with engineering and product to scope work define priorities and manage tradeoffs between timeline scope and resources.
- Track progress across sprints and project phases; proactively identify risks blockers and dependencies and drive resolution.
Agile & Development Operations
- Facilitate agile workflows including project planning task prioritization team communication and process retrospectives tailored to our development needs.
- Maintain project documentation roadmaps and status reporting that are accessible and actionable.
- Ensure alignment between development work and company goals including OKRs and strategic initiatives.
- Continuously improve development workflows tools and processes to increase efficiency and predictability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between development product design QA and other stakeholders.
- Communicate project status timelines and risks clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support go-to-market operations or customer-facing teams as needed to ensure smooth launches.
- Proactively identify repeatable workflows and operational gaps then design and maintain SOPs and checklists across marketing campaigns product launches and cross-team initiatives to improve speed quality and execution reliability.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Help ensure development deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
- Facilitate retrospectives and post-mortems as needed to identify improvements and apply learnings to future work.
- Promote a culture of accountability transparency and continuous improvement within the development team.
Who You Are
- 5 years of experience in project management preferably in a software or product development environment.
- Proven experience working closely with product developers technical teams.
- Strong understanding of agile and/or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Highly organized detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communicator who can translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive problem-solver who anticipates risks and takes ownership of outcomes.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced evolving environment with changing priorities.
- Analytical and data-informed with the ability to use metrics to track progress and performance.
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare mental health or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira Asana Notion Monday or similar.
Experience supporting scaling teams or startup environments.
