Tool & Die Maker - 2nd Shift $35.67-$36.42/hour
The Tool and Die Maker is responsible for analyzing disassembling and completely rebuilding worn out or outdated equipment to meet manufacturing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan layout and perform all bench and machine operations to construct alter and repair intricately designed and constructed forming tooling to required tolerances
- Set-up and operate tool room machinery/equipment.
- Perform close and exact operations necessary to fit assemble adjust align and finish work to specifications.
Qualifications
- A Journeymans Tool & Die Makers Accredited Apprenticeship or the completion of academic courses in Industrial Math I & II machine blueprint reading Metal Technology I and basic Die Making Technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent of five years direct applicable experience.
- Ability to use shop mathematics: work with fairly complicated drawings specifications formulas in manufacturing or troubleshooting.
- Ability to lift over 60 pounds.
