Your new role
Southend City Councils Targeted Youth Support Service have some exciting new opportunities to join the team at Shoebury Youth & Community Centre as permanent part time Positive Activities Workers.
The team are expanding the multimedia and art opportunities that are offered to young people they are particularly keen to hear from individuals with a passion for music dance drama & creative arts.
This role involves delivering engaging and inclusive sessions that help young people to express themselves & develop new skills that promote health confidence and wellbeing.
The salary for this position is pro ratad to the 14hrs per week

Thursday 17:00-20:00pm 3hrs
Friday 15:00pm -21:30pm 6.5hrs
What youll need to succeed
To be shortlisted for this position you will need to have experience of working with children and young people. Be flexible compassionate calm understanding fun able to manage difficult situations and be a good listener.
You must have a passion for the arts and enjoy being creative with others.
The salary for this position is pro ratad to the 14hrs per week.
