The DevOps Engineer is responsible for unifying software development and IT operations to enhance deployment speed system reliability security and performance. This role focuses on automating the software delivery lifecycle and collaborating with development QA and operations teams to deliver high-quality scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines

• Automate infrastructure using Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation

• Provision manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Deploy manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes

• Configure manage and support web/application servers including Apache

• Implement monitoring logging and alerting for system health and performance

• Integrate security and compliance into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps)

• Collaborate with development QA and operations teams in agile environments

• Automate manual processes and document best practices

• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across environments

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Hands-On Experience:

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Kubernetes

• Apache Web Server

Technical Skills:

• CI/CD: Jenkins GitLab CI/CD CircleCI GitHub Actions

• Containers: Docker Kubernetes

• IaC: Terraform Ansible CloudFormation

• Scripting: Python Bash PowerShell

• Monitoring: Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack Datadog

• Version Control: Git

• Operating Systems: Linux/Unix

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or related field

• 2 years of DevOps Cloud Engineering or Systems Engineering experience

Preferred Certifications:
AWS DevOps Engineer Azure DevOps Engineer Expert GCP Certifications CKA/CKAD
