Job Summary
As Emumbas Senior DevOps Engineer youll play a pivotal role in designing and operating highly available scalable and secure cloud platforms that power real-world applications.
This is about building automation-first ecosystems advocating DevOps culture and ensuring our engineering practices align with long-term business impact. Youll work closely with customers and cross-functional teams to transform requirements into resilient production-grade infrastructure.
This role demands ownership strategic thinking and a passion for continuous improvement.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering roles
- Advanced expertise in Kubernetes including extensive experience with managed cloud platforms (EKS GKE AKS) as well as on-premises deployments
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing highly available fault-tolerant and scalable architectures on AWS
- Proven ability to design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions Argo CD and Jenkins
- Solid experience with monitoring and observability tools including Prometheus Grafana and the ELK stack
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
- Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to mentor team members and actively contribute to team development and growth
What Youll Do
Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure
- Design deploy and operate enterprise-grade platforms across cloud and on-prem environments
- Optimize infrastructure in alignment with AWS Well-Architected principles
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
Reliability & Observability
- Build and maintain monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus Grafana ELK)
- Enhance system reliability security and resilience
- Diagnose and resolve production issues proactively
Leadership & Culture
- Advocate DevOps best practices and continuous improvement
- Mentor engineers through coaching and knowledge sharing
- Translate business requirements into scalable sustainable solutions
- Align platform strategies with organizational objectives
Nice to Have
- Experience leading teams in customer-facing environments
- Exposure to AI-driven DevOps or LLMOps
- AWS Professional certifications (Solutions Architect DevOps Engineer)
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA CKAD)
- HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification
