Were looking for a Quality Governance Audit and Performance Leadto join our Liverpool River Drug and Alcohol Senior Management Team to support the delivery of a high-quality effective and diverse service throughout the Service. This is a key leadership role where youll play a crucial part in helping us meet key performance indicators achieving service targets and ensuring we continue to develop and deliver services that truly meet the needs of our community.

Location: Liverpool

Hours: Full time 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary Range: 39891.91 - 44471.72 (pro rata for part time hours)

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

Purpose of role:


As part of the senior leadership team you will be required to undertake a quality improvement and development role which will include creating and undertaking regular and cyclical audits of all aspects of service delivery collating areas of best practice implementing quality improvement plans and evaluating impact. As part of this process you will assist in observed practice staff coaching and designing and delivering training and workshop sessions.
You will be instrumental in embedding the CGL learning culture within the service by sharing learning from all incidents and inclusively with the staff team implementing actions to reduce likelihood of reoccurrence.


In fulfilling these aims the post holder will keep up to date with quality improvement progress across the sector emerging evidence-based practice and new legislation including regulation.

Key Activities:

  • Work closely with the Service Manager and Deputy Service Manager providing governance leadership and direction across the service
  • Lead continuous quality improvement through regular cyclical audits of service delivery and governance.

  • Identify good practice and areas for development implementing and evaluating robust action plans across teams.

  • Work with leaders and front-line staff to embed effective practice through observation coaching and training.

  • Coordinate integrated quality audits with the senior leadership team in line with organisational audit cycles.

  • Support safeguarding compliance effective risk management and adherence to legislation policy and procedure.

  • Ensure thorough investigation of incidents dissemination of learning and contribution to service-wide improvement planning and reporting.

  • Lead on the development and presentation of service performance data and information

  • Produce timely reports to meet contractual regulatory and organisational requirements using data to inform service improvement.

  • Chair and contribute to team meetings that promote learning communication and feedback.

  • Prepare reports for external bodies including the Coroner and CQC as required.

  • Promote a learning culture supporting staff to give and receive constructive feedback and improve service user experience.

  • Analyse service user feedback complaints and compliments to identify themes and drive service improvements.

About you:

Education Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of working with drug and alcohol issues and a clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality services
  • Demonstrated capability in project development change management quality systems audits and service improvement.

  • Skilled in incident investigation and learning dissemination.

  • Knowledgeable in regulated service environments including CQC requirements and Key Lines of Enquiry.

  • Confident in delivering training and coaching using engaging and inclusive approaches.

  • Strong understanding of safeguarding for children and vulnerable adults.

  • A demonstrable understanding of performance and experience of performance management

  • Proven ability to analyse complex data sets to inform conclusions priorities and improvement actions.

  • Effective at influencing stakeholders at all levels and leading teams through change while modelling organisational values.

Abilities and Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal across a range of stakeholders including service users staff and partners.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure with well-developed organisational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrates empathy professionalism and non-judgement in all interactions.
  • Committed to positive outcomes for service users and to equality diversity and inclusion.
  • Maintains professional boundaries and works effectively with external agencies.
