Senior Quantity Surveyor
Sunshine Coast QLD
$135000 inc. Super
This opportunity is suited to a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is comfortable leading projects from inception through to completion building trusted client relationships and taking ownership of project outcomes within a collaborative and experienced team.
Youll be joining an established property and construction consultancy providing cost management and commercial advisory services across residential commercial mixed-use and public sector projects. With a strong and growing pipeline of work across South East Queensland the business continues to grow through repeat clients and long-standing industry relationships.
The role is based in the heart of the Sunshine Coast with the office just a short distance from the beach offering a combination of meaningful project responsibility and an excellent lifestyle location.
What youll do
- Cost planning and estimating across property projects
- Advise on procurement strategies
- Cost risk identification
- Managing final accounts and cost reporting
- Give timely advise on cost increases and budget risks
- Prepare and present cost report to clients and project teams
- Proven cost planning and estimation experience across property projects
- A practical commercially focused approach with experience in managing projects from inception through to completion
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage conflicting views and opinions
- Reliability to deliver output as agreed upon
- Confidence presenting to and dealing with executives senior stakeholders and clients
- Ability to take ownership of projects while contributing positively to a collaborative consultancy environment
- Salary of $135000
