Job Summary
Our Haymes Paint Stores are seeking a Casual Sales Assistant who can work across our Noosa Coolum & Currimundi stores as required averaging approximately 15hrs a week (this will vary). If you are looking for a true customer service position where you can bring your skills and knowledge to life whilst learning key skills in Haymes Paint expertise then this position is for you.
You will work with dynamic stores and be exposed to the customer service experience that we offer in our Noosa Coolum & Currimundi remit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide service advice and product solutions to both trade and retail customers
- Handle all paint related questions for all customers including tinting paint
- Inventory control (Goods Receiving/Stock taking) stock replenishment
- Take orders in-store and by phone
- Build strong relationships with repeat customers in store and fellow colleagues
- Assist with visual displays store presentation and house keeping
- Comply with safe work practices
About you:
- Trade experience is highly desirable
- Previous experience working in a customer service role
- A willingness to learn grow and develop with Haymes Paint
- Confidence to perform manual tasks
- Point of Sale (POS) system knowledge or appropriate tech-savvy
- Full drivers licence required for travel between stores
