Our engineer-led software teams develop technical solutions on an aggressive schedule across the DoW and IC to meet customer needs. Our engineers apply proven repeatable software technical and analytical approaches to build solutions and have frequent interaction with end users to produce and deploy solutions.

We bring experience in building integrating and deploying AI/ML solutions using Google TensorFlow Python scikit-learn and other tools. Black Capes approach to solution development combines lessons learned from developing and deploying applications to customer cloud environments with industry best practices in Agile development and DevOps.

We are expanding and need to hire motivated engineers to help build innovative solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate needs limited direction and is passionate about technology. A willingness and desire to learn new technologies or languages quickly is a must.
We are considering Junior to Senior Level software engineers (Minimum of 2 Years of Professional experience)
We are always looking for the RIGHT cutting-edge technologies to use for our projects to deliver the greatest value to our customers. Check out some tech stacks that we use that you could learn! Some Tech Overlap is Helpful.

Required Technical Skills (MUST HAVES):

Proficient with frontend development basics including HTML CSS JavaScript TypeScript and Git
Proficient with at least one JavaScript framework such as React VueJS Angular or SvelteExperience working on fullstack solutions with REST APIs and complex data
Experience with SDLC tools such as JIRA Confluence GitLab GitHub and BitBucket
Experience with Docker-based development and containerization
Aptitude for learning new technologies tools and processes with a proven history of picking up new skills as project needs evolve
Experience working in classified government environments or willingness to work at classified government sites as needed
Experience developing on MacOSX Windows or Linux

Preferred Technical Skills (NICE TO HAVES):

Testing libraries such as Jest Vitest Playwright or Cypress
CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
UI component libraries such as Material UI Chakra or Vuetify
State management libraries and techniques such as React Query Jotai Zustand Pinia Vuex NGRx or Redux
UI mapping libraries such as leaflet OpenLayers or MapboxGL
Design mockup tools such as Figma Sketch or Adobe products
Experience with Linux based distros such as Debian RedHat or Alpine
