DescriptionIndustrial Scientific is looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern for summer 2026! As an Electrical Engineering Intern you will gain hands-on experience in designing and testing next-generation industrial safety products including gas detection instruments and connectivity solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in electrical design tasks including schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Support prototype assembly testing and troubleshooting of circuits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development.
- Document design changes and maintain revision control.
- Participate in design reviews and compliance testing (EMI/EMC).
- Contribute to sustaining engineering and quality improvement projects.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering program graduating December 2026 or later.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (Altium AutoCAD) and basic programming.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work full-time during the internship period.
