Location/Division Specific Information

Position can be based in US REMOTE or EU REMOTE and will support the Clinical Trails Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific. We are the Clinical Trials Division (CTD): We Supply the Hope that Changes Lives - Global (remote)

TheTechnical Trainer Managerwill have direct impact on capability development for Thermo Fisher client services within Global Client Services and Planning by documenting processesidentifyingneedsauthoringand organizing training materials including reference guides jobaidsand SOPs. As part of the training team this individual willidentifyandestablishlearning pathways designed to develop the global client services team which are critical roles within the Clinical Trials Division. This position will collaborate with department Leaders SMEs and various technical trainers within PSG to create and improve the client services learning curricula in a continually evolving environment. This individual willidentifybest practices skill gaps and development needed by current and future team members to create a globalexpertiseto serve ourclientsneeds. This role will also engage in digital learning efforts to ensure the delivery ofstandardizedlearning and development programs that are scalable and meet the business needs of our global organization

A Day in the Life:

  • Author process maps user guides SOPs and training materials applying technical writing best practices.

Consult and collaborate withclient servicesLeadership and their team members to assess andidentifythe skills needed for global team members at all levels.

  • Scope and support the design and execution of high quality and impactful learning content that supports our changing and growing organization both ininitialtraining and continuous learning.

  • Coordinate and partner with leadership subject matter experts and external partners in the design and delivery of program content.

  • Support the identification design and execution of new learning solutions and development pathways to include leveraging digital learning capabilities to ensure scalable and accessible global programs.

  • Assess andsupportselectionof effective delivery modalities based on topic audience and intended outcomes. Evolve existing content to ensure that itremainsrelevant to our business and needs.

  • Seamlessly organize andestablishseries of program learning modules throughout the year by creating and driving communications that engageinformand instruct participants.

  • Utilizedata collection methodsanalysisand target metrics to evaluate effectiveness of programs and learning solutions to drive program improvements and strategic talent results (or to meet current and future business needs).

  • Handle document reviews.

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Deliver under tight deadlines.

  • Follow all processes style guides templates and brand guidelines.

  • May involve working within a document control system.

  • Build on role expectations and document best practices.

  • Facilitatetraining program.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelors Degree required.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of related experience preparing technical writing and documentation required.

  • Experience with delivering technicaltrainings.

  • Experience with video creation and editing using software such as Adobe Captivate Camtasia Articulate Storyline360 or equivalent.

  • Experience working with data toleveragemetrics and analytics

  • Knowledge of Pharma industry processeshighly preferred.

Knowledge Skills Abilities

  • Ability to communicate and influence across the organization; ability to prepare communication materials for both presentations and email delivery.

  • Ability to apply sound learning principles agile methods learning technology and program management skills together in the designdevelopmentand maintenance of learning programs.

  • Ability to develop program content for a global audience.

  • Demonstratedability to proactively build andmaintaininternal and external relationships.

  • Ability to work independently and drive toward agreed timelines and deliverables.

  • Outstanding organizational skills including demonstrated ability to scope plan and lead multiple complex learning projects and manage stakeholders.

  • High levelof comfort working with a variety of systems Learning Management Systems virtual classroomtechnologyand 3rd party learning applications. Fluency with MS Office especiallyPowerPoint and Excel.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $84400.00$126550.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
