The CARDIAC CATH LAB at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence supporting the Heart & Vascular Institue.. It is locate on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 4 rooms plus a Hybrid room dedicated to a patient population providing diagnostic and interventional services as well as pacemakers AICDs and Electrophysiology procedures TAVR. Mitral Clip and LAAO.

As our Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist at SJHMC you will help deliver excellent patient care by performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting.

Every day youll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS pressure wire rotablator IMPELLA atherectomy devices laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers.

To be successful in this role youll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow various patient positioning techniques and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

• Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order
• Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients teammates and yourself.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting calibrating and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

• Completion of approved JRCERTRadiologic Technologist Program and Two (2)-years of current RadiologyTechnologist and hands-on scrubincluding interventional experience. upon hire and
• Medical Radiographer: AZ upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 Days

Preferred

• Bachelors Other BS/BA and Experience in a specialty area or highacute facility upon hire
• Registered Technologist Vascualr Inteventional Rad upon hire or
• Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography upon hire or
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI upon hire or
