This contract position is available on-site and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care and diagnostic services in a dynamic healthcare environment.
As a Locum MD in Radiology you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is essential for maintaining the continuity of care and supporting our mission to deliver exceptional medical services to our community.
Responsibilities
- Conduct radiological examinations and interpret imaging results
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop patient care plans
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Provide consultations and recommendations based on imaging findings
- Document patient interactions and imaging results accurately
- Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and practices
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Radiology preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in using radiology software and imaging equipment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ethical standards
- Prior experience in a clinical setting is advantageous
Schedule: 8a-5p or 7a-4p
Daily Volume: 50-60 x-rays 40-50 CTs
Case Mix: Body neuro ultrasound MRIs
Pacs: Spectra
Dictation: Powerscribe
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
