Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze medical images to assist in patient diagnosis
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to provide comprehensive patient care
- Conduct consultations and discuss imaging results with patients and families
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and practices
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Provide mentorship and training to junior staff as needed
Requirements
- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Current medical license to practice in the state of Florida
- Experience in radiology preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with radiology software and imaging equipment
- Commitment to patient care and professional development
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9a-5p
Setting: Onsite
Daily Volume: 70 RVUs
Duties: General diagnostic IR and nuclear medicine coverage
Modalities: X-ray CT US IR MRI NM and fluoro
Required Procedures: Paracentesis central lines biliary drainage biopsies
Technology: RPCE Tech Stack PowerScribe 4.0 RP Reading Platform Mosaic/Clario
Must be board-certified
