What you will gain

Our Summer Internship Program beginning in June 2026 provides immersive training and introduction to Santander. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills helping your development during the internship.

The 2026 Santander Summer Internship Program is for undergraduate students and/or graduate level students who have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May/June 2027.

Santander US is a nationwide business with locations across the country. This position is located in Boston MA.

  • The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt) the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills experience training licensure and certifications and location.

Salary: $52000/year

As a Consumer Insights intern you will gain an understanding of how customer intelligence informs real-world business decisions for brand and product marketing with direct experience in disciplines to include survey questionnaire design research targeting/sampling/fielding online research community management and moderation and reporting and analysis. Youll be exposed to qualitative and quantitative research methods insight synthesis and translating data into actionable business recommendations.

Responsibilities of the Consumer Insights internship role may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist Sr. Associate in day-to-day operations of our online research community.
  • Assist in the research design and implementation process including project intake form creation research QA and reporting.
  • Ensure that the Consumer Insights Research Library is maintained and updated as required.
  • Synthesize key consumer insights and learnings for cross-functional reporting.
  • Special project work related to strategic initiatives within the bank including marketing/CX product and global initiatives.

What we are looking for

  • An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027.
  • Area of Study: Business Marketing Market Research
  • Cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above.
  • Strong curiosity about people and interest in understanding human behavior motivation and emotion.
  • Conscientious and analytical thinker with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage.
  • Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required.
  • Organized and able to manage time and multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently on special projects.
  • Ability to effectively contribute to a team environment.

It would be nice to have

  • A marketing mindset - ensuring that work is approached with customer-centric durable strategic growth in mind. (Likely developed through coursework in or exposure to marketing market research statistics finance economics or business.)
  • Experience with AI tools (i.e. intellectual/productivity pursuits) is a bonus.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products. (Preferred)
