Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to corporate safety and sanitation policies
Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of common areas including restrooms break rooms and locker rooms
Execute cleaning schedules for office areas manufacturing spaces and exterior grounds
*Operate specialized equipment including floor scrubbers or other floor cleaning equipment fork trucks boom lifts and scissor lifts
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
Document completion of cleaning tasks through established checklists
*Perform high-level cleaning and maintenance work up to 45 feet
Support facility needs including meeting room setup grounds maintenance and snow removal
Maintain and inspect safety equipment including eyewash stations fire extinguishers etc
Mix and apply floor/wall coatings according to specified ratios
*Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks as directed
Perform miscellaneous janitorial duties as directed
Other duties as assigned
*Not in all PPK locations
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
Basic mechanical aptitude
Ability to work independently
Knowledge of LOTO procedures
Understanding of SDS and HMIS labeling standards
Basic mathematical skills for mixing solutions
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Additional Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age
Must pass pre-employment assessment

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and safety protocols
Understanding proper chemical handling and mixing
Proficiency in operating industrial cleaning equipment
Ability to read and follow written/verbal instructions
Time management and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for documentation
Knowledge of proper waste disposal methods
Understanding food safety requirements
Ability to maintain accurate records
Skills in basic maintenance and repair
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Must model the Printpack core values including working collaboratively with others
Physical Demands: The associate will work in both office and production environments with some exposure which may include but are not limited to:
Must be able to lift and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand walk and move for extended periods
Comfortable working at heights
Ability to bend stoop reach and climb regularly
Manual dexterity for operating equipment and tools
Physical stamina for repeated cleaning tasks
Ability to push/pull cleaning equipment
Current fork truck license/ability to obtain license and other lift certifications
Ability to wear required PPE (hearing protection steel-toe shoes safety glasses)

Work Conditions: The majority of tasks will be performed in both manufacturing and office settings. Some tasks will be performed in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to:
Noise levels above 85 dB
Exposure to various cleaning chemicals
Indoor and outdoor work requirements
Variable temperatures and weather conditions
Requires use of PPE
Exposure to machinery and equipment
May occasionally require overtime weekends and holidays.
An additional $2.50/hr premium for hours worked on NIGHT Shift only (qualifying hours vary by location).
