A respected San Diegobased law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Legal Assistant to join its litigation support team in a full-time on-site role. This position is designed for an experienced legal assistant with a minimum of five years of business litigation experience who enjoys variety collaboration and supporting multiple attorneys and teams across a busy practice. The role follows a MondayFriday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and offers the opportunity to contribute in a fast-paced professional office environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong working knowledge of both federal and state court filing rules and procedures including hands-on experience with e-filing and a solid understanding of the full litigation life cycle. Exposure to transactional work is a plus. This role requires excellent proofreading and writing skills a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage calendaring accurately and efficiently. The Legal Assistant Business Litigation should be comfortable multitasking staying organized under pressure and assisting with daily overflow work administrative responsibilities and special projects as needed.
Strong computer skills are essential including experience with Word Outlook and iManage or a comparable document management system. Familiarity with tools such as CompuLaw Best Authority Adobe Pro Comparite and CCC Macros is considered a plus.

The right individual will demonstrate initiative a proactive approach to work and the ability to move tasks forward independently.
