Project Engineer Automation & Controls Sligo
Salary up to 55k DOE

- Headquartered just outside Sligo town they provide specialized services to industries including Food & Beverage Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Automotive and Medical Devices.
- With increasing demand for their expertise they are expanding their operations making this role a key contributor to the companys continued growth.
Your Role
- Lead and support automation projects working closely with the Project Manager
- Design architect and produce electrical schematics and drawings (hands-on role)
- Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant regulations codes and standards
- Act as technical lead for electrical design documentation and machinery safety
- Utilise SolidWorks Electrical EPLAN and WSCAD to create high-quality compliant designs
- Conduct machinery risk assessments and support safety and compliance activities
- Deliver technical aspects of projects to agreed timelines quality and performance targets
- Support and mentor engineering team members where required
- Must be prepared to travel within Ireland as well as overseas
Your Background
- To excel in this role you should have 3 years experience within engineering automation and software.
- 3rd level degree in engineering specifically with software schematics and compliance
- SolidWorks (or alternatively EPLAN or WSCAD)
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential along with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Drivers license
