Job Summary

Are you a hands-on mechanic who enjoys fixing real equipment not just swapping parts

Plaisted Companies is looking for a dependable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to help keep our fleet running strong. If youve worked on loaders dozers excavators trucks or similar equipment we want to talk to you.

Whether you have experience in heavy equipment diesel ag equipment trucking or construction maintenance your skills may be a great fit here.

What youll be working on

Wheel Loaders
Dozers
Excavators
Haul Trucks
Rollers/Packers
Conveyor systems
Screen decks & wash plants

Youll handle diagnostics repairs preventative maintenance and inspections to keep our operation moving safely and efficiently.

Schedule

Monday through Friday the shift would be during the hours of 6:00am to 5:00 pm.
Overtime available after 40 hours

Pay

$26.00-$28.00 depending on qualifications.
Full-time Non-exempt

Requirements

What were looking for

At least 1 year of mechanical or maintenance experience
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
Reliable and safety-minded
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
Able to lift up to 75 lbs with assistance when needed

If you dont have MSHA or a CDL but are willing to obtain them we encourage you to apply.

Education

Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Mechanical Trade School

Experience

Required: One year of experience in a maintenance environment
Preferred: Three years of experience in a maintenance environment
