The Department of Psychology at Arizona State University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor within the departments Masters program in Addiction Psychology (MS AP). The MS in addiction psychology program pairs state-of-the-art research from internationally-recognized experts in addictions with clinical expertise from licensed psychologists and licensed addiction counselors with decades of experience providing addiction program prepares students to pursue state licensure and become addiction counselors. Learn more about the Department of Psychology by viewing successful candidate will be expected to: teach courses within the MS APs curriculum; assist with the addiction practicum either by providing supervision within our training clinic or coordinating with external placements; and participate in service to the department university and profession as appropriate. The Clinical Assistant Professor position includes the potential for promotion within the Clinical Professor alignment with the ASU Charter the department is committed to meeting the needs of our students and engaging with the communities we serve.
This full-time benefits-eligible non-tenure eligible appointment is renewable on a fiscal year basis contingent upon satisfactory performance availability of resources and the needs of the unit. Anticipated start date is July 1 2026.
