- For each assigned patient the nurse prepares an individualized nursing assessment using professional judgement to seek pertinent data utilizing interviews and observation techniques.
- Performs assessment on pediatric and geriatric patients taking into consideration the physiological and anatomical differences specific to each age group.
- Assumes responsibility for guiding other clinical nurses through comprehensive assessment process.
- Identifies specific patient problems determines their common interrelationships and establishes priorities for plan of care.
- Observes identifies and collects data to identify nursing care needs of the patients.
- Plans for direct care and collaboration with other clinical nurses in care planning process.
Job Requirements
Required
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Registered Nurse: CA RN License
- Basic Life Support - CPR BLS within 30 Days
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support - ACLS within 30 Days
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support - ACLS within 30 Days
