Atlas is looking for an Environmental Senior Project Manager to join our East Hartford CT team. Come join us!
We are seeking an Environmental Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee high-priority projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning executing and evaluating several projects while maintaining schedules and budgets. This position will provide opportunities for business development managing a diverse range of clients and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced dynamic work environment.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects including but not limited to CTDEEP regulatory projects and/or compliance projects
- Write and review technical reports and proposals including site assessment reports (Phase I II and III) remedial plans and closure reports.
- Communicate with state and federal regulators as necessary
- Maintain relationships with existing clients develop relationships with new clients
- Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work products
- Ensure safe performance of project work
- Actively develop your own career growth
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Environmental Science/Engineering or another related field. MS a plus
- 15 years of solid technical and management experience
- CTDEEP regulatory project experience
- CT LEP in good standing
- Strong understanding of Connecticut RSRs
- Ability to mentor and train staff
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
- Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices
- Valid drivers license ability to pass MVR and reliable transportation are required
Salary Range:
$120000 To $150000 Per Year
The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the states law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
