Our work is inclusive of all survivors including women men children and the LGBTQ community and has no income or other requirements to access services apart from being a survivor of domestic violence. Resources that we offer include a 24-hour hotline emergency shelter support groups legal advocacy specialized childrens and familys services community-based survivor advocacy programs and prevention programs including community education and training.

Clinical Supervisor

REACH Beyond Domestic Violence is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our team. This position is unique in that provides clinical support only to staff and does not work directly with survivors or program participants. The role of the clinical supervisor is multifaceted; mitigating the impact of vicarious trauma on our team of staff ensuring the staff most of whom are not clinicians provides consistent support to survivors in alignment with best practices and strengthening programs and organizational capacity to address barriers and meet the needs of survivors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weekly clinical supervision to direct service staff and supervisors offer biweekly or monthly supervision to part-time or non-direct service staff
  • This position may provide occasional support for staff in administrative roles that may be impacted by vicarious trauma.
  • Provide occasional training/workshop sessions for employees to deepen skills supporting survivors of domestic violence especially those who may also have mental health or substance use histories
  • Provide the team with support guidance and consultation regarding the delivery of trauma informed care.
  • Assist the program team in assessing and improving services to reflect a relational trauma-informed approach.
  • Conduct research as needed to improve the quality of support offered to survivors.
  • Review case files and monitor progress in collaboration with leadership team.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor or leadership.

Work Schedule

  • This is a salaried exempt position expected to work approximately 32 hours per week though actual hours may vary.
  • The salary for this position ranges from $74000-$77000 depending upon skills and experience.
  • This position requires at least 50% of the time in-person but may be hybrid the other 50% if desired.
  • This position reports to the Director of Program Management.

This position is eligible for a sign-on/retention bonus of $1500 or up to $3000 for candidates who are fluent in Spanish and/or Haitian-Creole. The bonus will be paid in three equal installments each issued within 30 days of the milestone date provided the employee remains continuously employed and in good standing. The payment schedule is as follows: one-third at the start date one-third at six (6) months of employment one-third at one (1) year of employment.

Requirements
  • Licensed clinician required preferably LICSW or LMFT
  • Fluent bilingual capacity preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of clinical experience is required
  • Demonstrated ability to provide highly skilled supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Significant experience working in a residential setting is strongly preferred
  • Highly skilled in trauma-informed practices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence are essential
  • Strong leadership and a sense of ethics
  • Effective communication with all levels of management
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small and collaborative team.
  • Ability to offer flexible hours to meet the needs of staff. Our team works shifts including evenings and weekends. This position must have some flexibility to meet with all staff members.
