Inertia Resources is a nationally recognized energy brokerage firm with an established presence across Texas Boston Rhode Island and New York. As we continue our strategic expansion we are launching a Baltimore market and seeking a Director of Sales Operations to lead it.

This role offers full market ownership meaningful leadership responsibility and the backing of a proven national platform. The Director of Sales Operations will play a critical role in building regional presence scaling revenue and developing a high-performing sales team.

The Opportunity
You will be responsible for opening and leading a new market setting the commercial strategy and building a team of Account Executives who execute at a high level. This position is ideal for an experienced energy professional ready to step into broader leadership with long-term growth potential.

What Youll Do
  • Lead the launch and growth of Inertias Philadelphia market
  • Build mentor and manage a team of Account Executive
  • Drive new business development and oversee key client relationships
  • Establish sales processes performance expectations and operating rhythm
  • Own regional forecasting revenue targets and execution
  • Partner with executive leadership on expansion strategy

What Were Looking For
  • 5 years of experience in the energy industry
  • Proven success as an energy broker
  • Prior sales or people leadership experience
  • Track record of growing revenue and developing talent
  • Strong business judgment accountability and ownership mindset

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $75000$125000 depending on experience
