This role will be part of our Americas Energy practice.Our team recognizes that given the unprecedented shifts taking place in the energy world many traditional energy business models are becoming obsolete. The move toward decarbonization and the energy transition coupled with technological innovation such as electrification and the Internet of Things have introduced opportunities to enhance efficiency improvecustomerexperience and collaborate with other industries. Role
Provides day-to-day leadership of client projects and aspects of the client relationship and commercial process within those relationships teaming with Partners and shares responsibility for the success of a specific engagement(s).
Leads and manages complex programs to ensure on-time delivery that meets agreed upon goalsleveragingOliver Wyman best practice their ownexpertiseand the firms technical competence.
Guides and influences clients in an informed way across all situations including execution of the commercial process becoming trusted advisors.
Engages fully in building business byidentifyingnew and expanded opportunities.
Creates exciting and additive intellectual capital through their thoughtleadership andare knowledgeable on a broad range of adjacent topics.
Develops others and builds a followership as part of their asset building for the firm.

Desired Skills and Experience
As our Partners of the future Principalsrepresentthe nearnextgeneration of Oliver Wymans leadership. As such theyrequirea substantial level of experience:
8years experiencestrategyconsultingis preferred but a combination of strategy consulting andchemicals/processindustry experience will be considered
Experience in operator roles within Chemicals/Process Industries/Industrials preferred
Expert-level practice-specific knowledge ofchemicals or adjacent process industries specifically with deepsupply chain / operationsexpertise
Demonstratedtrack recordof EBITDA improvement and operational transformation
Strong execution orientation not strategy-only
Track recordof leading and managing teams and delivering against tight deadlines in fast paced and demanding environments
Strong background in conceptual problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to deploy yourexpertisein thought leadership and other intellectual capital efforts to bolster business development efforts
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a readiness to present your teams work to senior executives at top-tier clients
Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
Willingness to travel 50% of the time including internationally

The applicable base salary range for this role is $235K - $265K.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience skills training location certifications and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
In addition to the base salary this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
