Wartburgs Institutional Advancement team plays a vital role in sustaining the transformative educational experience at the college. Through strengthening relationships sharing Wartburgs story and securing philanthropic support Institutional Advancement ensures that students benefit from exceptional academic programs scholarships campus facilities and experiential opportunities.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Management & Program Coordination
- Develop program plans timelines and documentation to support effective execution of identified projects and programs in collaboration with Annual Giving staff.
- Research and evaluate program elements and recommend design changes to align with best practices and inform program enhancements.
- Assist with identifying audience segments and recommend multi-channel outreach strategies.
- Assist with program evaluation and process improvement plans as appropriate.
- Digital Strategy & Platform Evaluation
- Responsible for aspects (specifics TBD) of digital giving efforts via the online platform; provide the Director with support in other areas of the online platform.
- Focus on improving user experience and engagement.
- Research current system functionality recommend improvements and coordinate and/or support efforts in making updates.
- Communication & Audience Engagement
- Support student employees efforts around calling texting and digital outreach.
- Develop recommendations for outreach strategies including which communication channels to use for different audience segments.
- Data Analysis & Decision Support
- Support efforts within the Advancement division around analysis of participation engagement and giving data to inform recommendations and strategy.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of current outreach approaches (digital phone email etc.) through data analysis and review.
Minimum Requirements: - Requires a bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college/university.
- Requires strong written and digital communication skills.
- Candidate must have excellent project management skills including flexibility problem solving and leadership development skills.
- Must be enrolled in the prescribed MA in Leadership courses each term.
- Must maintain an overall grade point average of 3.00 while in the GA program.
- Must meet the eligibility requirements for employment within the United States.
- Must successfully complete a background screening.
